Did you make this to point this out to yourselves? And you do know that Coke and Sprite are the same company? He is referring to selling Weed (the green of Sprite) versus cocaine. (Coke, duh).
We should be proud of the Hip Hop community for its pioneering work in profiting from product placement. The creation of alternative revenue streams have allowed these artists to continue to provide an income for themselves, and industry, in the face of pirating. Don’t hate the player, hate the game.

So basically that’s how some products sell right? Since stars make songs and music videos about shoes, that’s the way it will sell. Back in the day, if you wanted to be like your star and basically wanted their style, you had to get the shoes. If it was just a normal ad, without celebrity, it would not sell as much. What a cunning tactic.
Same thing with Justin Bieber modeling for Proactive. Once he did an ad, the sales went up. So celebrity is POWER.

Sprite is so heavily marketed to minorities you have to wonder if they are adding something “special” to it. The so called elite talk about them as weeds and useless eaters so I can totally see them poisoning that sick syrup.

I remember when i was in the 11th grade when nelly came out with that air force 1s song (02-03) You couldnt find them any where.I believe Liquor companies are doing the same thing….every video/song you see/hear a rapper talking about or holding a bottle of Nuvo (Which tastes so weak females dont even like it) all of it is bullshit.
